Alvin has been a Virginia Beach native since 1983. Knowing the area well and establishing long term relationships are two things that add to his success. His financial career started in 1999, with a local retail bank as a teller. He eventually worked up the retail sector as a teller, teller supervisor, client servie representative and finally to a retail loan officer. After seven years, he left the banking world as a Financial Center manager for BB&T, and decided to explore the world of mortgage lending. Alvin has been originating mortgages since 2005, and enjoys every aspect of it. Whether it's helping a a first time home buyer, refinancing a current home, financing a buyer's dream home, or an investment property, every journey is truly appreciated. Customer service, knowledge, professionalism, and availability are some of the traits that help separate him from the traditional lender. 

Alvin has been married for 12 years to Aimee, has 3 children, and 1 dog. Being part of a military family has allowed him to understand the needs of our VA buyers, though he specializes in all financing types, including FHA and Conventional.
